Recently I have become very concerned about a trend by some who have decided to not use window screens for their home or apartment windows, in order to save a few dollars. You might ask why am I so concerned about this? Let me simply state that window screens can help to save lives! Window screens actually serve an important function and so let me share a few things that I have discovered in my research and a lot of it has to do with flying insects (primarily mosquitoes) and the diseases they carry.
